The Casterbridge Music Development Academy (CMDA) is proud to be hosting the Route 40 Music Festival for the 2nd year running. The Festival is a unique music development event in South Africa and an exciting addition to the cultural calendar in the Mpumalanga, Lowveld. Music will be celebrated for the entire four days in the form of band performances, workshops and Jam “Mashups”.

The festival is not only geared to rock the Lowveld with SA’s leading artists such as The Parlotones, Vusi Mahlasela and Shaun Jacobs but it will also provide a platform for the public to interact with and meet these headline musicians. The CMDA youth bands 7day Weekend, Saving Superman, Tonic, Zebra Crossing, Buzz Band, Ozone, Outcry and Township Roots will be opening for these headline acts.

Corporate and local companies are invited to book tables at The Parlotones performance on Thursday 4th December. This is the ideal opportunity to host your firm’s end of year party at a fabulous venue with an amazing South African band entertaining employees and clients.
